Description: These are just a few of the high quality banners made by fans attending the 2008/2009 Grand Prix Final in Goyang, Korea last December. In all the years I have worked at national and international figure skating events, I have never taken photos of fan-made banners before. However, I was so impressed with the ones in Goyang that I had to shoot all of them (I have many more). It's clear that Korea has some of the most dedicated fans in the world. Maybe we should encourage Ice Network to dedicate a section for posting photos of fan-made banners? Just a thought.
